Browsing the MCP Connectors directory

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Besides its Featured Connectors, le Chat offers a directory of pre-configured third-party Connectors that you can add to your account with just a few clicks.

🔑 This feature is reserved for users with Admin privileges. All le Chat Free / Pro / Student account owners are Admin by default.

🚨 It’s important to remember that while the MCP Connectors directory is designed to facilitate your connection to the MCP Servers that are featured in it, these MCP Servers are not Mistral AI Products and, accordingly, we are not responsible for them. Accordingly, Mistral AI cannot be of assistance if there is a problem with the execution of a request you make to a given MCP Server, or with the response you get back.

Note that we may also remove any given MCP Server from Mistral AI’s MCP Connectors directory at any time.

Browsing the MCP Connectors directory

1. Navigate to the Connectors page

Within le Chat interface, if not already open, click the toggle panel button (1) then deploy the Intelligence menu (2) and click Connectors.

3. Browse the directory

The directory displays all available third-party Connectors. You can search for a specific Connector using the search bar at the top.

Click a Connector to see its details (title, icon and description) and add it to your account.

🔑 Some Connectors, even pre-configured, may require additional configuration (such as a custom URL or API key). In such cases, you will be prompted to provide this information when you add the Connector to your account.

🙋 Quick question: What if I don’t see the Connector I need?

If you don’t see the Connector you need on the MCP Connectors directory, you can still add it as a Custom Connector. You will need additional information such as the MCP server’s URL.

4. Authenticate the Connector

Like Featured Connectors, MCP Connectors usually require authentication to access their data.

If prompted to authenticate (typically via OAuth 2.0), follow your provider’s instructions to grant le Chat access to the Connector.
