How can I report harmful or illegal content?

Updated yesterday

You have the availability to report any content that violates our Usage Policy, that is otherwise illegal or that you consider harmful.

📌 By doing so, you grant us the right to access the reported content (including your input and output) to improve our services (e.g., to help us make sure that the services do not generate such illegal content again).

This right is granted worldwide and for the duration of the intellectual property rights under applicable law.

Where applicable, you must delete such content using the applicable feature on the Services.

How to file a report

We take reports seriously and aim to make it easy to submit content for review and possible removal. Use this form to report content you believe is illegal or violates our terms or usage policies. Please complete each section carefully so we can assess and address the content efficiently.

Step 1: Select what you are reporting

Start by choosing the category that best describes the issue. You'll see a list of reporting options such as harmful speech, violence, terrorism or con-consensual sexual imagery. Select the option that most closely matches the content you're reporting. If you're unsure, choose the closest applicable category.

Step 2: Provide the URL of the content

Enter the full URL of the content you are reporting (for example, the full link to a Le Chat conversation). This field is required so we can locate the content and take action where necessary or required.

Step 3: Describe the reported content

Use this field to briefly explain what the content shows or contains. Include any context that may help us understand the situation, such as:

  • What happens in the content

  • Who is involved

  • When or how it appeared

Step 4: Explain why you believe the content is illegal or violating

Describe why you believe the content violates the law or our terms or policies. You may reference applicable laws, rights, or policies, if you know them.

Step 5: Provide your contact details

You will be asked to provide:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

These fields are required unless the report concerns CSAM. Your contact details allow us to follow up if additional information is needed. They will be handled confidentially, and will not be shared to any third-party.

Step 6: Select the relevant country or jurisdiction

Choose your country. This helps us assess the content under the correct legal framework.

Step 7: Confirm and submit your report

Before submitting, check the box to confirm that the information you've provided is true and complete to the best of your knowledge. Then submit your report.

After you submit

Your report will be promptly reviewed by our team, and action may be taken where necessary. We may also provide you with relevant information about any action taken.
