How to share a conversation
You want to share a conversation from le Chat with someone else? Here’s how.
🔑 We value your privacy. Conversations in le Chat are private by default and won’t be visible to other users unless you decide to share them.
1. Open the conversation and click Share
Open the conversation you want to share. In the top-right corner, click the Share button to open the sharing modal.

2. Choose your sharing method
In the modal, pick your method:
Direct share: click one of the provider icons (1).
Share by link: click to create a link you can copy and send yourself (2).
📌 You can share directly to 𝕏, LinkedIn, Reddit, WhatsApp, or via email.

3. Complete the share
Depending of your chosen method, you’ll see a popup from your provider or a shareable link.
Follow the on-screen steps, or copy the link to share it manually.

📌 Once shared, the conversation shows a small orange indicator next to the Share button.

No, at the moment, it is not possible to revoke access to a shared chat.
Important notes about shared conversations
You’re not sharing the original conversation but a cloned snapshot. The original and the shared copy are independent and can continue separately.
🔑 In other words, recipients won’t see any new messages you add to your original conversation after sharing.
If you later want to share updated content, create a new link and share again following the procedure above ⬆️.
