How do I chat with an Agent in le Chat?

You’ve got an Agent ready (or someone has shared one with you 🔎). Let’s put it to work in le Chat.

How to chat with an Agent

Select your Agent in a conversation

In any chat, type @ in the message box to open the Agent picker. From there, you can:

  • Search for an Agent using the search bar (1)

  • Create a new Agent (2)

  • Pick an existing Agent (for example, My Weather Agent) (3)

After you choose, the Agent mention appears at the top of the compose box. You’re all set.

The mentioned Agent is active for this conversation

Send your message

Ask your question or make a request, then send.

Your Agent will reply based on its configuration and instructions. Keep the conversation going as needed.

🙋 Quick question: Can I talk to multiple Agents at once?

You can have only one Agent active at a time. You can switch Agents within the same conversation (type @ and pick another), but you can’t address multiple Agents in a single message.

Switch Agents or go back to the default model

Switch to a different Agent

Use the dropdown arrow, or type @ again, and select another Agent.

Revert to the default le Chat model

Click the cross icon to remove the Agent from the conversation.
